Cameron Gunn is the Founding Partner of ReSolve and has held the position of Senior Principal since the firm’s inception in March 2006.
Cameron is a Chartered Accountant and UK Insolvency Practitioner, licensed by the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales. He has over seventeen years’ experience working with companies across most continents, in a wide variety of sectors including retail, wholesale, leisure, manufacturing, recruitment, IT services and software, building and construction, property, online businesses and professional and financial services.
Cameron prides himself on his innovative and entrepreneurial approach to problem solving. An active investor in under-performing or breakthrough businesses himself, Cameron understands the pressures faced by stakeholders pressed for growth and returns in tough economic climates. As a teenager, Cameron also saw his own family’s primary business go bankrupt some 25 years ago. He therefore understands the toll that such an event can have on one’s position – both financially and emotionally. It is this experience that he believes makes him a compassionate business adviser and puts him in a unique position to advise stakeholders of their options.
Outside of work hours, Cameron acts as a mentor to disadvantaged youths in Surrey and South London. He also helped launch, and continues to actively support, various schemes in South London that place teenagers and young adults with special needs into the working environment. When he has spare time he plays squash and tennis.
Cameron Gunn won Insolvency Practitioner of the Year in 2012.
