Lee Manning, Consultant

Lee Manning joined ReSolve in October 2018 to further develop business advisory, restructuring, mediation and litigation support services.

A Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants and Licensed UK Insolvency Practitioner, Lee has over thirty-five years’ experience as a trusted advisor on financial viability issues to key business stakeholders across a broad range of sectors. Previously a Partner at Deloitte for 14 years and at Buchler Phillips / Kroll for 12 years he was also President of the Association of Business Recovery Professionals (R3).

Lee oversaw the rescue of Millwall Football Club as a going concern and has acted as an advisor to numerous professional football clubs. He led an 18 month project  planning for the wind-down of the London Organising Committee of the Olympic and Paralympic Games operations after the games which was carried out in a record 8 months.

Lee succeeded in selling c.260 Blockbuster stores as going concerns whilst materially enhancing key creditor recoveries. He has particular expertise in working with professional football clubs, retail, leisure, catering, real estate, construction and manufacturing industries with strong experience in technology sectors.

Regularly appointed as a subject matter expert witness in insolvency related litigation Lee has provided written expert testimony in respect of restructuring matters for a wide range of businesses.

Outside of work Lee is Trustee & Treasurer of the Fulham Football Club Foundation and also Trustee & Chair of the Finance Committee of Saracens Multi-Academy Trust which is building a new Primary and Secondary school in Barnet starting this year.

A Fulham FC season ticket holder for over 20 years Lee also enjoys Travel, Photography, Film and Theatre.
